Middle C Repertoire -- This three book series follows the Keyboard Kids. This can be used as a supplement to other courses or stand alone on its own. These books are more a repertoire of pieces than a method. YOU provide the method. This is a great course for children who have difficult with reading. Since the books progress at a very gradual pace you, as the teacher, have generous time to build their reading skills while students still have new pieces to learn each week. For example - There is a song simply called Theme, in Book 1. The student is given the opportunity to listen to Peter's Theme from Peter and the Wolf. This approach begins to teach the young student the language of music and gives exposure to great music all in the context of the piano lesson.

Folk Songs -- This little series of books gives provides authentic folk songs from many different countries to develop their reading skills. These songs are useful to the student at the point they are no longer dependent on five finger hand positions.

The titles of the selections often reflect their country of origin. I title a song of Ukrainian origin The Aj-Petri, a stunning mountain found in the Ukraine. For a photo go HERE.
