PART 1 - You will need to download a performance
of Anton Diabelli's Bagatelle in G major for PART 1. Click on the BAGATELLE ICON when you're ready.
PART 2 - You will need
to download a performance of Ludwig van Beethoven's Russian Dance for PART 2. You will also need a MANUSCRIPT of the same piece.
Click on the RUSSIAN DANCE ICON and the RUSSIAN DANCE MANUSCRIPT when you're ready.
PART 3 - For PART 3 you will need to listen
to five examples of DANCE by Dmitri Kabalevsky. First, listen to the "delta" "sigma" and "omega" phrases individually; the three
phrases that make up this piece. Then from A-B-C-D-E choose the example that puts these three phrases in the most logical
order.
PART 4 - You will need to download a performance of Dmitri Kabalevsky's Playing Tag for PART 4. You will also need a MANUSCRIPT
of the same piece. Click on the CHIT-CHAT ICON and the CHIT-CHAT MANUSCRIPT when you're ready.
PART 5 - You will
need to download a performance of Franz Josef Haydn's German Dance for PART 5. Click on the GERMAN DANCE ICON
when you're ready. After spotting the phrases listen to the four excerpts:
A-B-C-D. You must determine if the excerpt
contains a COMPLETE PHRASE or an INCOMPLETE PHRASE.
PART 6 - You will need to download a performance of Robert Schumann's Soldier's March for PART 6. Click
on the SOLDIER'S MARCH ICON when you're ready. After spotting the phrases listen to the four excerpts:
A-B-C-D. You
must determine if the excerpt contains a COMPLETE PHRASE GROUP or an INCOMPLETE PHRASE GROUP.
